Rummy is essentially a card game in which you must form sets and runs from a hand of cards in order to merge all of your cards before your opponents do. For example, a run is a series of three or more cards in the same suit, whereas a set is three or four cards of the same rank but different sataa kigsuits. The rules of the game, which can be played with two or more players, can change slightly depending on whether it's Indian Rummy, Gin Rummy, or Kalooki. Players must understand not only the fundamentals of Rummy but also the subtleties that can affect the game's outcome if they want to succeed at it. After being dealt a predetermined number of cards, each player alternates between drawing from the discard pile & the stockpile. The strategic component is put into play when players must choose which cards to keep & which to discard while monitoring the moves of their rivals.
